To celebrate 75 years of service to the community, the Cougar, WA, Post Office hosted a Customer Appreciation Day on August 4 filled with refreshments and generous portions of hearty smiles.

Retail Associate Tina Moir arranged the essential elements of the engaging event for the community and warmly welcomed appreciative visitors. Her commitment to the Cougar community runs in her family, as her uncle and cousin both served as Postmasters at the facility. They joined Moir, current Postmaster Chris Lusk, and another former Postmaster to celebrate the special occasion.

“The Postal Service has been ‘in my blood’ for generations,” Moir said. “It was wonderful to celebrate the anniversary and hear customers and former Postmasters from my family share their memories on this special day.”

The Cougar Post Office also made a distinctive postmark available for the event.
