During a recent naturalization ceremony in Nevada, individuals from other parts of the globe became official citizens of the United States. At the conclusion of the ceremony, citizens had the opportunity to apply for their U.S. passports. Logandale Postmaster Delois Smith and the passport team from Overton, Alamo, Blue Diamond, and Las Vegas James C. Brown Main Office were on-hand to provide a seamless, easy application process. Passport services offered at the event were not only appreciated by those in attendance, they were also recognized by the Department of State.

In an email, Department of State Customer Service Manager Howard Josephs praised Smith and her team for their exceptional work.

“I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was spending part of the day with De and her crew at the naturalization ceremony that my director and I attended…” said Josephs. “They’re a great group and a huge help to the newly naturalized folks there!”
