Mountain Home, ID, Postmaster Dan Day and his family enjoyed a rousing game of basketball with friends and colleagues.

When Boise, ID, Plant Manager Jim Brenneman recently organized a special outing away from the workplace, employee participation was a slam dunk.

More than 40 employees purchased tickets to a stimulating game of basketball at CenturyLink Arena in Boise during a special employee engagement night. The Idaho Stampede, a basketball team in the National Basketball Association Development League, played hard to display their athletic talents, and the postal team observing the spectacle reveled in the experience.

Joining his extended family, Mountain Home, ID, Postmaster Dan Day brought his wife and daughters to the event.

“It was a lot of fun, and the price was right!” said Day.

The entertainment experience gave postal attendees the chance to form a deeper relationship with one another that will enhance the spirit of cooperation and camaraderie both on and off the job.
