Four employees at the Seattle Network Distribution Center (NDC) have received the Postmaster General’s Hero Award for their efforts at saving a fellow employee’s life.

On a Saturday evening last October, an employee was unconscious on the workroom without a pulse.  Collectively, the four sprang into action applying CPR, calling 911 and calming other employees in the area.  First responders were on the scene within minutes and continued the resuscitation measures. The employee was taken to a nearby hospital where he recovered and since has returned to work.

Medical personnel credited the four heroes with saving the employee’s life.

They are heroes, in every sense of the word. May God continue to bless them!
