Tracking Santa

Norad Santa

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, a time when children are eagerly awaiting the arrival of that
jolly fellow in a bright red suit. To help track Santa’s progress as he makes his way across the land, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has a special website that provides children with state-of-the-art tools to monitor his progress.

NORAD has maintained the tradition of tracking Santa since 1955 when Sears mistakenly printed the telephone number for CONAD, NORAD’s predecessor, in an advertisement for children to call Santa.

In addition to tracking Santa, the website also contains games, videos, music, and a virtual holiday library for children to enjoy.

To access the special website, go to http://www.noradsanta.org/.
