Wizarding World Comes to USPS

Harry Potter

The Harry Potter films brought J.K. Rowling’s magical world to the screen, giving physical shape to the characters, creatures, and places that had lived in readers’ imaginations since publication of the first book. The U.S. Postal Service celebrates that magic with a 20-stamp souvenir booklet featuring stills from the award-winning Warner Bros. movies.

The stamp set comes in a five page booklet featuring photographs of a few of the brave heroes, fearsome villains, and extraordinary creatures that Harry Potter encounters throughout his adventures.

The booklet is available for sale today at USPS.com, so pick up your stamp set soon before they disappear.

stop with the “special Post Offices” why is it only special people in big citys get the extra stuff.. like greeting cards and premire post offices??? RURAL America is what made the Post Office and it keeps it going. All Post Offices should sell the same stuff no mater what the size of the city.

The stamps are awesome. In essence, it’s a folio — for which we normally have to pay extra — for the price of an ordinary book of stamps. You can see it at:

Are these stamps only available in limited locations? I usually order my stamps online unless I’m sending a package in the mail and swing by the counter to pick up a batch. Christmas is coming, so I’ll be making a few more visits in the next couple weeks to start sending gifts in the mail. I think sending some of these stamp booklets will make for great gifts this year. I might just hold back a set for my collection too while I’m at it. 🙂
