Discount Parking Tickets

Discount parking tickets

In a crowded city like New York, parking is scarce at best. While it may make some reconsider the value of owning a vehicle, delivery services don’t often have that luxury of choice. This usually places a shipper in the difficult position of parking illegally to make a quick delivery. To make that dilemma easier to handle, New York City has a special program in place that caters specifically to the needs of delivery services.

In New York City, a shipper making a quick delivery of 30 minutes or less can have parking violations dismissed in court. The catch is that the shipper has to address each ticket separately in court, and the city bears the cost of proceedings for each case.

To ease the hassle and expense of costly court appearances, New York City allows a delivery company to manage its tickets online and pay a reduced fine on each occurrence. The shipper must agree to waive its right to challenge the tickets, but it does allow the company greater flexibility in managing time sensitive operations.
